Great dining experience. We attended the Thursday night set menu. Food was extremely fresh and delicious and they accommodated various dietary requirements. All the staff were friendly and the chef came to talk as well. Would revisit on a future trip to the Barossa.

Really like the school themed vibe of this place - and that it's only a small dining room. I found the prices quite high for the style/size of the dishes, but that could be to do with the size of the restaurant. Food was rustic but tasty. A high was the delicious bread and crudites. We had the chef's choice which felt a bit disjointed. It was unclear what stage we were on throughout. This meant we'd basically finished and were thinking it was time for dessert when a full spinach pie arrived. It was tasty but we weren't able to get into it. Wish the chef's choice came with dessert, we would have happily swapped out one of the other courses.

Such a great setup. Loved all they’d done to keep it themed as a school. The staff were delightful and attentive. The food was a tad disappointing considering it had won awards. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing? Still a lovely day out.

Dining at Staġuni Restaurant was an unforgettable and treasured experience. Located in the historic Marananga School, the restaurant exudes a charming and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in. My friend and I were warmly greeted by the delightful Chef Clare as we waited to be seated. The staff were exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the afternoon. We were shown to a lovely table by the window, which evoked fond memories for me, as the room reminded me of my primary school in the area. The food was exceptional, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that highlighted the chef's passion for flavour and quality. We chose the chef’s recommendation, and every bite was a delightful symphony of taste. It was truly a memorable culinary experience that I believe everyone should try. I highly recommend Staġuni Restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We just had a fabulous lunch today at Staġuni. Situated in an old school house along Seppeltsfield Road with great rustic decor and lovely staff. We were super excited to try it after reading a write up and it exceeded expectations. All of the service staff were great and we even got to have a chat to head chef, Clare. Hard to pick a stand out dish as they were all so yummy but the red snapper and barramundi were particularly delicious. Wines are affordable, and the breezy ambiance made for an excellent afternoon. Totally recommend if you are visiting the Barossa for lunch, though best to book ahead.

A fantastic new addition to the Barossa, and was absolutely worth the drive from Adelaide for lunch. Delicious, fresh and seasonal Mediterranean-influenced food, with equally inspired drink options, and the service was excellent - the perfect mix of professional and approachable. Add it to the top of your list of restaurants to visit. I’ll be back very soon.
